Getting to Nalanda

The closest airport to Nalanda Monastery is Toulouse International Airport (TLS). There are many cheap airlines that fly from various destinations in Europe, however for overseas visitors (i.e. USA), it is advisable to fly into the UK and take an economy airline such as EasyJet or FlyBe to Toulouse from there.

Once you have arrived in Toulouse, you can take a bus to the train station, and the train will then run to Lavaur. Once in Lavaur, you can call Nalanda for a ride.
