The Basic Program at Nalanda will consist of fifteen terms over five years.

During a term Geshe Jamphel will teach alternate weeks. Each teaching day will consist of between and six hours of class with Geshe Jamphel and one hour of group review.

Weeks without teachings will be structured around reviewing, discussing and personal study of the class material as well as guided meditation and short retreats. The weeks without teachings will be monitored and facilitated by the appointed Teaching Assistant.

Term breaks will be adjusted to allow students to attend teachings given by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche and other high Lamas during their European teaching tours.

Daily schedules for the teaching weeks and weeks without teachings are obtainable from the Basic Program Coordinator, Ven. Yonten, on request.
